The Book

The signing at Midtown Comics was much fun. The people there were wonderful, and I want to thank everyone who came out or who worked at the store. It was a great way to start the trip off. So much fun.

I have a very important note for anyone who discovers that they are in Making Comics (the book): A friend of ours, skry, came up with the idea of taking a copy of the book around and seeing if she could get most/many of the people involved to sign it. Sky realized that we were better able to do that, as we are visiting all fifty states on the tour. She decided that she would do the same thing. No, she is not doing this so that she can give it to our friend. She has decided that when the tour is over, she is going to donate it to be auctioned off for the CBLDF (Comic Book Legal Defense Fund).

So it is very important that if you are in the book, you need to sign the copy that Sky is bringing around with her. We forgot it at the hotel this afternoon, and I had to go back for it. That meant I had to walk the twelve/fourteen blocks from the store, back to the hotel and then back to the store again. I am tired just thinking about it. Anyway, Sky will not know if you are in the book, and Scott doesn't always remember to mention it, so please ask.

I must sleep now. Don't forget Rocketship tomorrow.

(no subject)

Since I am really tired and everyone has already posted I would just like to ask all of the New Yorkers who are reading this a question.

A few weeks ago I ordered a box set of Gilmore Girls (season three) and I just found out that the order was refunded and they are not going to come. So my questions for those who live in Manhattan is if there is anywhere that I can get cheap dvd box sets. I ordered it for 25 dollars so I was hoping to find somewhere where it is really cheap. Sorry for an unreal update I just really need to get this. Please if you could comment with the answer in the next day that would be great.
