Hey, good questions -- and good answers. Everybody seemed fairly comfortable on camera, which can be tough to do. What a great piece. I look forward to the next one.
That was seriously good stuff right there! I eagerly await more installments. Also it's nice to know that someone else had the same Nickelodeon experience I had as a child.
So often interviewers fail to let us see the personalities of the people being interviewed - if the interviewer is really good we might get some insight into the person's inner thoughts, but normally interviews feel stiff and I always get the feeling that the person being interviewed would be very different if I got to know them personally.
I suppose like there's an inherent tension in being interviewed that makes it hard for the real person to come out.
But this Winterview was like seeing the interview AFTER the interview - when the credits are running and you wonder what everyone on stage is REALLY talking about now that the cameras are off and the audience is leaving. After watching this interview I feel like I've been given a chance to sit down with Dave and Raina and actually get a chance to meet them as people.
I'm going to watch it again and listen more closely to what Dave and Raina they say about their professional lives, but my first impression is that we're seeing something in this interview that just isn't available anywhere else.
Excellent work - all around. Great and even surprising questions, excellent atmosphere, and good and very interesting production values (camera angles, lighting, and sound). I imagine it won't be too long before we start seeing this kind of interviewing attempted by network news shows.
It looks like the WinterViews are going to be very special, and I will definitely be looking forward to the next one ^_^
I was most impressed. I thought the questions were terrific and the editing was great. Like everyone else has been saying, I'm looking forward to your next installment.

I also thought it was funny to see Red Sonja ads right next to an interview with two creators who make all-ages material.
